Learn about this timeless surface slip and how to easily and affordably make your own for your classroom or home studio! Heather Barr, 2018 Jerome Ceramic Artist Grant recipient and NCC's materials technician, will show you the way!
3:00 - 5:00pm: Casting Craziness with Heather Nameth Bren
Potters and sculptors alike are searching for methods to enable the efficient production of multiples. Casting is an avenue for such! Learn more about this exciting process and its practical applications for your classroom or home studio! Heather Nameth Bren will walk you through the most important aspects of casting creations—from plaster use and management, to mold creation and care.
The fee for the full day of activities is $25. Participants are responsible for providing their own lunch each day.
